How to Maintain a Good Conscience (THE MISSING PAGE)
After reading through these numerous questions, I almost got tired when there was a pointer to a particular page where I could find the answer(s) to the questions so far. Then I felt relieved; believing that once I got to the page, all my mysterious answers should unfold.
Have you ever searched for something before with a bid to finding it and all you could find is something next to nothing? Then,that you think all your questions were about to be answered and it all fell through.
When I turned to the page, the page was missing. Now,no answers to my questions. I retired to my bed that night; thinking of so many things . With a restless search for the missing page through the junk of my waste bin, I found it but didn't know who could have torn it off. Do you know what was on the missing page? I was so curious then as you are now. What I found while I put apart the pieces of folded sheet with a rocket speed action, was a simple phrase : THE CONSCIENCE!
After a heavy sigh, I went back to the book and glued it back to its rightful page and read over again. It then had meaning to me.
Why do you think we engage In evils in this black hole called the planet ? The simple answer to that is the fact that we don't have conscience anymore; that is our missing page. Our leaders treat us the way they do because they lack conscience. You treat your subordinates that way because you have no conscience. We treAt ourselves like some junks because that is missing in us__THE MISSING PAGE. Students engage in many atrocities,both at home and at school because they all have the missing page. THE CONSCIENCE. We can do something good but with conscience.
I do often tell people all is well because I believe that nothing is too late. We can all one time in our lives, look out fir the missing page__our conscience. I may not know who tore the page of my book,but I knew not who but I know what tore up yours. It's greed,discontentment, non_gallacy, too much exposure to worldly things,to mention but a few. Once we found our missing page, everyday is a gift and every night will definitely be a rest. But without that, there will be no true satisfaction. You will quest for more until the inevitable end comes and you have to answer for your deeds when on EARTH. There is still time for us to all try as hard as it could be,to locate our long time ago missing page__The Conscience,so as to be better man again. All evil doers were once good people. But they allowed some not very testable friends to remove that page of their beings without which no one is complete.All good people were one time bad,too. So we can always choose to be good. You have,the strong threshold to fight to locate your CONSCIENCE! Make it your guide. I plead with you, before you do anything,ask your conscience. If it does not agree with it,don't be pushed by unwanted visitors. Fight back and be yourself.
We are all like the moon with a dark side, but we just don't show it to people. Fight to be in the light.
When I finished reading the book, I found it so interesting and life changing. Before I read, I forgot to check who the author was. But now, I have the. Compulsion to check for the brilliant author because he deserves my kudos. When I checked the back cover, it reads: ADELUMOLA BABAJIDE IRIYOMI. Then I realized he was just this kid living in my neighbourhood.

(2) A personification of moral sense of right and wrong, usually in the form of a person, a being or merely a voice that gives moral lessons and advice.
